Prestige - the foundation for success
With quality and prestige, the company’s products are present nationwide with more than 1,000 agents, distributors, affiliated stores, supermarket systems and exported to nearly 30 countries and territories around the world. Besides bird's nest, the company has successfully exported processed products such as canned bird's nest, jarred bird's nest and bird's nest essence to earn high value, pay more tax and create more jobs for workers.
Mr. Nguyen Khoa Bao, Chairman of the Board of Directors, proudly said: "With a long-term vision and sustainable development approach, since its inception, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa has focused on investing mainly in production technology, researching and developing a variety of new, specialized products to adapt to changing domestic and export markets."
Besides, Sanvinest has kept strong focus on the billion-strong Chinese market. China is the world's largest bird's nest consumer market, he said, adding that Chinese consumers are very knowledgeable about bird's nest products. For them, bird's nest is a very precious high-class food, so it is often chosen as a gift during public holidays and important events. Although Vietnamese bird's nest products are very popular among Chinese people, they are mainly exported through unofficial channels or purchased by tourists when they come to Vietnam, so the official sales are very modest.
Therefore, right after the protocol was signed by two countries to allow the official export of Vietnamese bird's nest to China, the leadership of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa saw this as a great opportunity. Notably, anticipating the huge demand in this giant market, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa made careful preparations many years ago like recruiting Chinese-fluent personnel, providing specialized training for employees, understanding the bird's nest industry, and grasping production processes to facilitate negotiations. These critical factors have helped pave the way for the company to expand its export market in the future. "We always want to boost exports to this market. However, export procedures there are demanding and very different. To get official export, the company must meet the procedures for traceability and disease safety, and at the same time make high-quality products according to importers’ order requirements. In addition to ensuring the quality of exported products, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa has taken measures to strictly comply with the Protocol to stabilize product quality during the shelf life and storage period while registering for trademark protection in China,” he added.
In the coming time, Sanvinest will step up the search for more Chinese partners, conduct market surveys, develop sales distribution channels, agents and stores, learn about customer needs to improve quality, research suitable products and strengthen its prestige in the Chinese market.
Sharpening competitiveness
“We are always aware that each market has different requirements. It is extremely important to continuously learn and research market needs and approaches from our partners. Doing so, we will have a visual perspective and improve product quality and design to meet consumer needs and tastes,” Bao emphasized.
Accordingly, the company has focused on researching scientific projects and launching new product lines; constantly upgraded the equipment chain system, improved packaging, and built more factories that met export standards to demanding markets. The company has introduced stricter production control regulations, from input to output, to improve product quality; and gradually increased the swiftlet nest content in each product to meet customer needs.
With that foundation, we believe that when the economy recovers and consumer purchasing power is higher, Sanvinest will be ready to provide premium products for the domestic and international markets.
All efforts of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa are aimed for sustainable development while maintaining its key position as a powerful producer and trader of bird's nest products in the country and striving for an annual export growth of 35-40%. In 2024 alone, the company has promoted the development of Sanvinest branded products in the international market, aiming for an export value of US$10 million or more.
In the near term, the second phase of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa premium soft drink factory in Song Cau Industrial Park, Khanh Vinh district will start construction soon. This will be another great opportunity for the company to join hands with local authorities to support job creation for local workers, accompany and contribute to local economic development. In particular, each project of the company is invested with modern equipment and applies Technology 4.0 to improve productivity, stabilize product quality and minimize risks. Moreover, the company will also strive to advise relevant authorities and agencies to develop a set of standards for the swiftlet nest industry to ensure the rights of legitimate businesses.
Green consumption is becoming a trend in many countries around the world, especially in developed countries, and is spreading strongly to developing countries with middle incomes and above. Consumers change and businesses must also adopt to that change. Sanvinest Khanh Hoa is no exception. Accordingly, the company has researched and used environmentally friendly packaging designs, prepared to install a rooftop solar power system to both have a clean power source for production and reduce emissions into the environment. “Digital transformation and green transformation are not only the foundation for development but also for the sustainability of companies. Many companies have green labeled their products. If we do not keep up, we will fall behind and be eliminated from the global playground,” Bao noted.
